“Wee trees in Scotland often grow in such places, or in such ways, that they really look quintessentially resilient – like hardship did nothing to them but making them stronger and bolder. To express this strength, I needed to smoothen the Loch’s waters while creating directionality in the sky towards the setting sun, to give the tree a sense of hope. A long exposure of nearly one and a half minute did that perfectly for me.” – Vieri
