“On a cloudy and misty day, I went to photograph Arnardrangur’s sea stack, one of my favorite locations. On this particular day, the weather conditions inspired me to portray the loneliness of this basaltic giant, standing alone on the Icelandic shores of Reynisfjara. A long exposure of a little over six minutes worked perfectly to render the sky and the ocean perfectly for the image I envisioned.” – Vieri
