“The elegant sea stack at Playa de Portizuelo, with the right tide, stands just close enough to a stranded boulder to look like they were once part of the same formation. When they parted, they never really moved away from each other, staying connected even if at a distance; to express this idea, I needed to simplify the ocean’s waters turning them into something visually connecting the rocks. A long exposure of two minutes worked perfectly here to create the mood I envisioned.” – Vieri
