“Delicate Arch is one of those Southwest USA iconic locations that made me fell in love with landscape photography. The challenge here is to carefully craft a composition that would make the arch look really delicate and classy. The usual full frontal composition wouldn’t do it for me, since it makes the arch looking really flat, especially in sunset light. Therefore, I explored until I found the angle that worked perfectly for me; the large boulder in the foreground adds contrast between its heaviness and the lightness of the arch, helping me conveying both the power of this giant pair of rock legs, and how delicate they are.” – Vieri
