“Spittal’s Pier is extremely graphic, with its long line jolting into the ocean and the little white & red lighthouse standing a the end of it. To enhance its graphic power, I photographed it on a cloudy and windy day, mirroring the shapes created by sea water on the sand with those I created in the clouds through the careful use of composition and a long exposure of a little under thirty seconds.” – Vieri
